Nos va a dar la sarna, tenemos q comprar una locion q se llama Yacutín. Los efectos de la sarnas son picores y granitos parecidos a los de una alergia o de mosquito, es decir unas ronchas.
Las vacunas q tendremos q ponernos son principalmente:
Fiebres tifoideas (la podemos encontrar en 3 comprimidos)
Hepatitis A (un unico pinchazo de 1mgr.)
Malaria (no es vacuna sino pastillas de prevencion)

A ver hay que comprar RELEC el repelente más potente contra los mosquitos, ah la malaria no tiene vacuna, así que las pastillas son solo preventivas así que mas vale no pillarla. Tengo un wena y una mala noticia, la buena: en jaipur, udaipur agra y bombai, no hay apenas riesgo de pillarla, solo en calcuta y en venares(o el sitio ese del ganges) y la mala: vamos en época monzónica, propicia para la cría de mosquitos así que mucho cuidado, pero no os preocupeis yo ya he comprado raid..
lo pinchamos en el enchufe con adaptador y no hay problema...

La web del Mº de Exteriores no aconseja viajar a Nepal actualmente. ¿Cómo esta allí la situación? ¿Habéis tenido algún problema? Este verano me voy 25 días al norte india y nepa.

Aun no hemos ido, partimos este verano, el 13 de julio, y tb tenemos en mente visitar aparte del norte de la India, Nepal, lo q pasa es q las ultimas informaciones sobre este pais no son muy alagueñas, eso es lo q un viajante nos conto sobre Nepal:
Nepal no está para bromas. Hay una inestabilidad política importante y la guerrilla maoísta acosa a la misma capital. Unos familiares fueron en diciembre y siempre estuvieron escoltados por el ejército y no les dejaban salir del hotel, sólo para unas visitas concertadas y ya digo que escoltados con tanquetas. Casi no pudieron ver nada.

La sarna es un ácaro (un insecto diminuto) que se mete bajo la piel. El ácaro de la sarna puede desplazarse aproximadamente 1 pulgada por minuto bajo la piel. Cuando un ácaro hembra se mete en la piel de una persona para poner sus huevos se produce un salpullido que causa picor,después de la exposición al ácaro de la sarna, los surcos se levantan y aparece un picor intenso, especialmente cuando la persona entra en calor en la cama o después de hacer ejercicio o darse una ducha o baño caliente. Los síntomas aparecen más rápido (a menudo horas después de la exposición) en las personas que han tenido sarna anteriormente. Si te rascas, los surcos pueden infectarse. Puede aparecer salpullido o protuberancias en la piel que hay entre los dedos, en el lado interno de las muñecas, en el interior de los codos, en los pliegues que hay debajo las nalgas y del abdomen, y alrededor de los órganos genitales. Las protuberancias pueden inflamarse, endurecerse o desarrollar costras.Toda ropa debe ser lavada con agua lo mas caliente posible, incluyendo la de la cama toallas y debe ser planchada el calor mata los insectos y sus huevos.Deben evita el contacto físico cercano, no usar ropa ni sabanas que no sean las personales,las cuales tiene que ser lavadas y planchadas.En la farmacia hay jabones y shampoo que se venden que pueden ser usados como prevencion asi tambien como pueden llevar una plancha de viaje son pequeñas y livianas, espero que les sirva este comentario ya que uno no sabe lo que es hasta que lo padece mi hijo trajo un gato a casa y no se imaginan en el baile que estuvimos metidos yo no sabia lo que era hasta que hable con el dermatologo,tuve que lavar todo con agua hirviendo y plancharlo todo y la casa tuvo que se sesinfectada varias veces a lo largo del tratamiento todo por un lindo gatito encontrado en la calle, y les cuento que es sumamente contagiosa y dificil de eliminar el tratamiento dura varias semanas hasta que el grupo familiar se encuentra libre de sintomas.
Aunque como dice el dicho.¡ Sarna con gusto no pica ! todo sea por conocer la India un abrazo muy grade y suerte.

Enhorabuena por el weblog que os estais montando para el viaje. Solo comentaros que mi chica y yo hicimos un viaje similar (sin Bombay) hace 8 o 9 meses. Lo de Nepal acojona un poco (a nosotros nos pillo una amenaza de secuestro aereo de los maoistas en primera pagina de todos los diarios de India) dos dias antes de volar desde Delhi a Kathmandu, aun asi, cuando llegas te das cuenta que la inseguridad es muy relativa, la movida no va con los turistas. Aun asi, los toques de queda impresionan. En cualquier caso, os animo a ir a Nepal, a nosotros es lo que mas nos gusto (la gente es una pasada, y hay mogollon de cosas que ver en 3 o 4 dias).

Juanma: no desesperes jejej con lo de la sarna que el medico no te menciono o no quizo mencionar lo de los piojos jejeje , tu mencionas la diarrea bueno es muy facil de evitar siempre se toma agua mineral y se lavan los dientes con ella ,nunca pero nunca com agua del grifo, se puede tomar gaciosa pero no del la botella directamente por que no se sabe que trato recibienron y ni que hablar de las latitas asi que es mejor con sorbete tomar las bebidas en vasos si no son de restorat o del hotel evitenlos al igual que los utensillos para comer tenedores cuchillos cuchara etc ,descartables mejor o si son los de uno si les estoy diciendo que se lleven sus utencillos jejej, el abuelo de una amiga viajo muchisimo por que estaba en la marina, siguio estas reglas y otras mas,en los viajes que realizo.
Evitar tragar agua cuando uno se ducha y se lava la cabeza,no comer en puestos de la calle esto no es Japon en donde todo es limpio y ordenado, bueno quizas uno paresca pesado al dar tantos consejos pero nunca esta de mas saber como manejarse hay muchos mas pero para que atocigarlos con ellos, pienso que estos son la base para que disfruten del viaje, la comida la van a encontrar muy especiada demasiado para mi gusto,pero sumamente exotica no tan buena como la japonesa y la china pero bueno sobre gustos no hay nadada escrito.

India os va a encantar, no os dejará indiferentes... seguro que no. No habéis escogido el mejor momento, ya que el monzón es la peor época del subcontinente, pero, aún así, la sufriréis y en consecuencia la disfrutaréis.
No tengáis aprehensión: piojos, sarna, enfermedades tropicales.... Si sois prudentes nada os ocurrirá. Lo digo por experiencia: viví dos años en India con mis padres (Embajada de España) hace ya 20 años, y os aseguro que India ha cambiado un montón.
Disfrutad del color, de la variedad, del misterioso amanecer, de los contrastes, de las miradas y las sonrisas, la suciedad, la belleza y el caos... La comida: excelente!!!!

buenas...un aparatillo que va fenomenal,pese a que lo perdieramos a los 10 dias de llegar...se llama radacan,es del tamaño de 1 pinza de ropa y lo podeis comprar en carrefour...emite 1 sonido que en silencio se escucha,pero os aseguro que en india no!!!y eso auyenta a los mosquitos!!te lo cuelgas de la camiseta,pantalon,etc y tienes 2 metros de cobertura!!lo mejor es que no va ni con pilas,bateria,etc...fue perderlo y los mosquitos empezaron a picarnos...casualidad?
mosquitera olvidarlo,no hay donde colgarla y ocupa mucho.un aparatillo de esos de enchufar va muy bien y alli encontrareis el adaptador.el relec tambien muy bien y ref malaria nosotros dejamos la medicacion a la mitad...nos sento fatal...mal humor,mareos,cagaleras...

Me voy a la India en octubre, todo el mes, y haré desde el Rajasthan a Nepal.
Como este año viajo sola no me he decidido a coger la mochila y hacerlo por mi cuenta así que voy con una de esas agencias de aventura que montan grupos, veremos que tal sale la experiencia.
Ayer fui a vacunarme y a mi también me pusieron la de la Polio, pero no mencionaron el cólera ni la sarna, y eso que voy a Benarés.
La verdad, me habeis asustado un poco con lo de Nepal, pero es parte del recorrido.
